Cultivating “SEEDS” Forum (Sisters Encourage Empower Developing Success):
Every woman has a story. At this event, volunteers will have the opportunity to share their stories with the Dress For Success™ Austin’s clients to help them fully harness their power and recognize their ability to have economic sustainability.
Studies show that when you lift one woman out of poverty, she brings six people with her.
Volunteers will share some of their best tips and idea on the following topics:
- Professional Development
- Challenges for Women in the Workplace
- BC for the Home
The mission of DFSA is to empower women+ to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help them thrive in work and in life. Since 2003, Dress for Success Austin has served over 17,000 women+ in Central Texas through referrals from 100+ non-profit and government agencies.
