Congratulations to WBCM Chair Diane Doering who has been named to the DRI International Board of Directors! In addition to leading the DRI Foundation’s Women in Business Continuity Management Committee, Doering is VP, Enterprise Risk Management & Governance, Risk & Compliance for Iron Mountain.

Doering leads the global Enterprise Risk Management program at Iron Mountain and is based in Boston, MA. She is actively involved in the implementation and alignment of enterprise risk with other risk mitigation programs. She recently expanded her remit to lead the governance, risk and compliance (GRC) function as part of the information security risk management program.
Her career in leading enterprise risk, operational risk, and business continuity management has spanned nearly 20 years within financial services and commercial industries including: Putnam Investments, Bank of America/Columbia Management and State Street Global Advisors. In 2011, she was recruited to develop and implement the Operational Risk program, including business continuity management, for the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) where she lived with her family until she returned to the states in 2016. Doering has been recognized for her track record of delivering results while creating consensus across diverse cultural backgrounds.
Doering currently chairs the DRI Foundation’s Women in Business Continuity Management Committee, a position she’s held for nearly five years. The committee’s objective is to empower and elevate women by creating networking and professional growth opportunities. In March, 2020 she received the DRI Foundation’s Distinguished Service Award in recognition for her extraordinary dedication and commitment to helping others.
