During the COVID-19 crisis, our nation’s hospitals need all the support they can get. Recognizing this, the DRI Foundation has provided a donation to the Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY.
As the academic medical center and University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center is nationally recognized for clinical excellence, ranked among the top hospitals nationally and regionally by U.S. News & World Report. For more than 100 years it has been innovating new treatments, procedures and approaches to patient care.
As a response to the pandemic, the hospital has increased its safety measures, cleaning procedures, and social distancing guidelines, while encouraging patients to maintain their health via new services such as video visits with physicians.
The DRI Foundation is proud to support such nonprofit organizations in communities impacted by disasters to provide crucial assistance. 100 percent of the money collected for the Global Pandemic Fund will go to small, local organizations that are an integral part of their communities.
