A recent DRI course united two very special groups of people – Wounded Warriors and medics who care for them.
The June 10-14 course was held at the Good Samaritan Veterans Outreach & Transition Center at St. Phillip’s College in San Antonio, TX. The DRI Foundation awarded scholarships to 23 Wounded Warriors and medics for the four-day Business Continuity (BCLE 2000) course which they attended free of charge.
“It was an absolute honor to be teaching a course for those who fell and those who treated them side by side,” said Alan Lake, Colonel, USAF (Ret.). Lake is a past chair and works on special projects for the DRI Foundation’s Veterans Outreach Program Committee and has been instrumental in its success.
