Saturday, May 17 is Volunteer Day at DRI2014 — a fantastic opportunity for business continuity pros to get their hands dirty and give back to communities in need! We’ve got full- and half-day volunteering options that suit every attendee’s interests and schedules, while also earning valuable CEAPs.

Community GardenNew Picture (26)
Volunteer Day partner organization Truly Living Well is an organic garden devoted to connecting communities to the land through education, training and successful urban agriculture. 20 spots are open for volunteers to help with gardening tasks within the four-acre garden from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Food Bank
The Atlanta Community Food Bank wants your help with all the food donations it receives. At the Product Rescue Center, volunteers will inspect, sort and pack these goods, to make sure they’re safe and ready distribute to people in need. Two teams of up to 40 volunteers can participate in three-hour morning or afternoon shifts.

Home Building
For a labor-intensive experience, you can join in on a day of home construction with a team of 30 DRI2014 volunteers. Stay tuned when we announce our partner organization for this opportunity.

Earning CEAPs
