Become a DRI Foundation Steward
You choose the cause. Together, we make the impact.
The DRI Foundation Steward Program puts the power to change lives in your hands. As a Steward, you select the nonprofit organization that matters most to you. The DRI Foundation supports your commitment by making a donation to your chosen organization and helping you make a meaningful difference.
Whether it’s disaster recovery, hunger relief, veteran support, or another cause close to your heart, we help amplify your contribution by recognizing and sharing your efforts across our global community of resilience professionals.
Which Organizations Are Best Suited for Stewardship?

The DRI Foundation primarily supports nonprofits with missions that align with the disaster lifecycle in some capacity. This includes organizations with reactive missions or strategic missions:
- Organizations with reactive missions focus on providing response and relief to remediate the impact of a particular event that has happened.
- Organizations with strategic missions focus on preparedness to mitigate the probability and impact of events.
Additional Criteria:
- Received less than $500,000 in donations/revenue in the previous year
- Focus on immediate community assistance (as opposed to national/international aid)
- Provide direct service (as opposed to charitable funds, foundations, or pass-through organizations)
- Direct foundation grants to support programs, rather than administrative expenses
When you give, you lead by example—showing how resilience extends beyond the workplace and into the heart of your community. Ready to make a difference? Contact the Giving Committee today at getinvolved@driif.org.
