The DRI Foundation and DRI International (DRI) are partnering with the communities where we work for a couple of upcoming events we wanted to share!
First up is the Detroit Prepare Fair, part of FEMA’s PrepArathon program. On September 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., DRI’s Michigan office team, the Michigan State Police, and other organizations will be on hand to teach the community the importance of emergency preparedness. Participants will get to meet local first responders, explore emergency response vehicles, receive free preparedness items, and more!
DRI’s New York office also is participating in New York’s Ready Red Hook Day on September 13, which will feature fun, prizes, and Community Response Plan Practice activities. We’ll have more about these events in a future issue of DRIVE and on the DRI Foundation’s blog!
